The Early Days: Who am I?

High Achiever: Head Girl, 1st class degree in Marketing, educated at top university.

Confident: School plays, choir concerts, public speaking. I feel different - is that ok?

Adventure and Resilience

Freedom: Camped for 90 days across Europe, travelled East to West Cost USA

Patience and Bravery: Sept 11th made finding a job difficult. I hustled my way to a Marketing role at M&S Money.

Top Performer: Promoted often, recognised as one of the top 1,000 performers at Halifax Bank of Scotland.

Curious: Experimented in a number of roles, including new branch openings, internal comms and product marketing. (Do you recognise Howard off the TV ads?)

Recognition: Awarded a place at The Marketing Academy for top young marketing talent who have the potential to become C-Suite executives.

1st Coaching Experience: Started to get the bug.

Fiercely Ambitious: Head of Marketing at Manchester Airport Group at 29 years old. Became CIM Fellow member.

Sadness: Ectopic pregnancy, high stress, traumatic birth.

Gratitude and Experimenting

New Purpose: Motherhood became the making of me, with two under two! Started to take a photo of life everyday (I’m now ten years in and still going!)

Trying Something New: Self-taught family photographer with a client wedding in Italy my absolute highlight. I was featured in Huffington Post for my daily photos.

Reflecting and Innovating

Experimenting: Hybrid working (before it was a thing!) for a not-for-profit organisation interacting with the UN. I made the role work with my children.

Pivoting: Took a shine to company culture and developing people.

Connection and Vulnerability

New World: During Covid, took on Head of Marketing role at an Edtech business and became Managing Director aged 39.

Speaking My Truth: Realigned my life to fully live my purpose and values. Bravely resigned with no job to go to.

Living my absolute best life!

Investing:I have clarity on the life that I want to live. I have completed the Professional Co-active Coach training which is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and considered a gold standard in coaching. I have invested more time in me than I have in my whole life! I am a Member of the Association for Coaching.

Choosing: There are more choices. I am more intentional. I live life on my terms with richness and joy. I am a time millionaire. It is not always easy but it is the best feeling in the world.

What's your joy project?

We all need more joy in our life, that is certain! I use my love of photography (having taken a photo of my life every day for over ten years now) to capture moments, experiences and memories that bring more joy in to my life. It feels priceless.
